How does it work?

It starts with a free, no obligation consultation. During this time, Chef Jen learns your eating preferences and style and any dietary restrictions or food allergies your family may have. Together we plan a menu for you and your family. On cheffing day, Chef Jen brings all the necessary produce and groceries, prepares the meals and packages them accordingly. She leaves a clean kitchen along with heating instructions for all entrées and side dishes.

Do you cook in my home?

Yes, Chef Jen prepares and packages all meals in your home. This ensures that your entrées are cooked, cooled and stored safely to provide the freshest possible meals. Your kitchen is left clean. The only evidence she was there is the aroma of delicious food and a stocked refrigerator and freezer.

What if I don’t have a “chef’s kitchen” with no adequate pots and pans?

Chef Jen will use what you have and bring what you do not. This includes everything from cookware to spices.

Do I have to purchase the groceries?

No, this is part of the service. Chef Jen will bring the freshest produce and meats when she arrives at your house for cheffing day. No more maneuvering your cart through crowded markets and waiting in long check-out lanes.

How much does it cost?

You have to remember you are not just paying for food. The service includes menu planning and recipe research, grocery shopping, meal preparation, food packaging and labeling, and clean-up.

The price of this service depends on the number of people Chef Jen is cooking for, the number of meals prepared and the frequency of visits. Meals range between $15 and $25 per serving, comparable to dining out. The difference is you have meals made exactly to your liking with only the freshest ingredients.

How often do you come?

That depends on you. Services range from weekly, twice a month, monthly or on an as needed basis.

What if I do not like an entrée?

Your satisfaction is Presto!’s number one priority. Any entrée or side dish that you do not enjoy will be replaced, at no charge.

Can you help me plan a party?

In addition to our Personal Chef services, we also offer Event Planning Services for parties of 50 or less. Presto! can help mail invitations, decorate, plan and prepare the food, and clean up if necessary.

Are Gift Certificates available?
